Gratitude as a tool to become magnetic to what you want - now!

“When you start to feel grateful for what you already have, you will start to attract more of the good things — more of the things you can be grateful for.” — Dr. Joe Vitale in “The Secret”

There’s no beating around the bush here.

The law of attraction ensures that what you put out comes back to you.

If you send out energetic messages of scarcity and limitation, the Universe will have no choice but to mirror back to you experiences  that leave you feeling lack.

If, on the other hand, you deliberately send out energetic messages  of gratitude and abundance, the Universe will fall over itself to  drop reflections of wealth (in all forms) at your feet.

So, from a metaphysical perspective, gratitude and appreciation are the wisest investments one can make.

(This is also why financial institutions refer to things that increase  in value as “appreciating”.)

Today’s action steps:

1) Listen to Max Wellspring lead yesterday’s live “Gratitude Activation” here: http://21daysofgratitude.com/?page_id=10

2) Share your thoughts on this quotation below:

“What you put out comes back. The more you sincerely appreciate life from the heart, the more the magnetic energy of appreciation attracts fulfilling life experiences to you, both personally and professionally.” — Doc Childre and Sara Paddison

3) Continue your daily list of 5 things that you are grateful for in your online Gratitude Journal at:

Enjoying this exploration with you!

  1. Our minds are strange (but very powerful) things. The rise and fall of good and bad has always been there through time, but when we alter our focus onto the good and deliberately pay no heed to the bad, then the bad things cease to hold such importance to us as non-motivators, while the good things we are now noticing are more strongly motivating. And once motivated - we can move mountains!

Andrew, I think that is exactly right, although I would substitute the word “inspire” for the word “motivate.”

Absolutely . . . what you give out comes back to you ten-fold and then some! And, when you give from the heart, just watch what comes back to you. If your actions are based on love rather than fear, the Universe can’t help but give more love back to you so you can keep the flow of love going. This message is sent to all of you with love.

I so agree with the statement, because being a true state of appreciation draws our focus on what we want as well as makes us feel good. So we are focusing on our desires and feeling good at the same time…

I believe it in my head and am bringing it more down into my body. Have seen some wonderful examples of this in my life and agree with the women on the call last night- that sustaining this energy is something I am enjoying learning techniques for.

I was privileged to be part of Bonnie’s class on Monday, and when I wrote the following comments to her, she encouraged me to post them here…which I do now, humbly, and with gratitude if you take time to read all this! This is an edited version but you’ll get the idea! If you were not on the call, I gently and heartily encourage everyone to listen to the recording, it was a wonderful experience…this is in regards to how her wisdom shared resonated with me, especially re: romance!

    (begins)
Re: the savoring, first of all, I am a chef and am well familiar with that fabulous mode of being!
And I love that the joy of savoring is not just limited to food or meals but
can have wonderful ’spill over’ effects when you do savor a meal as your
story told! This morning, after having come off of a challenging week/weekend,
especially emotionally, I was taking a walk at the beach where I live, and
while listening to beautiful, upbeat, positive love songs, I
consciously CHOSE to feel as happy, as beautiful, as special, as
excited…as I had been when I had an incredibly delicious (on lots of
levels!!) experience with a certain man in Italy, one year ago. So, even
without your prompting, I practiced SAVORING in a very special way, just
hours before our call … now I know it was the PERFECT thing to do, and I
thank you for enlightening me about the power of “savoring”!!!! It just
    feels so good!

And further, on that note, to tandem the ladies’ romantic stories on the
call, a few days ago (even during my not-so-good time) I also had a ‘flash’
that I was in the arms of my husband (future!) at my wedding reception, in
Italy. All of my friends from Italy and France were there, and as I looked
around, I was crying (I really was, during the flash) and he was saying to
me “You created this, this is your happy ending.”

Recently especially, I have been surrounding myself - quite ‘coincidentally’
    - with happy, beautiful couples, everywhere (including Italy, I just
returned from a vacation there), and it occurs to me, that I am next! - even
though I haven’t met him yet, that I know of. I just know that everything I
have felt, and will feel from this point on, to believe that I deserve that
kind of happiness, will have something to do with the overwhelming emotion I
intend to feel at ‘my future wedding reception’ -
    (ends)

Then! I read on the PPP posts that Will Smith had done an interview we were encouraged to check out on Youtube…and it turns out he absolutely promotes a ‘preoccupation with happy endings’ !!

    hmm, I’ve always liked him…

This statement is absolutely true, whenever I feel grateful I receive more gifts and blessings from the Universe
